Haiti Earthquake

A massive earthquake struck 12 January near the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince, causing damage across the impoverished region. It is the largest quake to hit the area in 200 years.
Officials estimate the earthquake has killed about 200,000 people and affected an estimated 3 million – about a third of Haiti’s population.
Teams have come from all over the world to provide assistance to the nation, but efforts to distribute aid have been hampered by numerous problems – including blocked roads, bureaucratic confusion and the collapse of local authority.
Although the teams aid, there are many problems in Haiti. One of the problems is shortage of food. Now, water is available, but the process of getting it is not always smooth. An angry crowd stands outside the office of the local aid organization in charge of water distribution, and that they desperately need more food, tents, and medical supplies.
I hope that United Nation’s team will save Haitian people’s security and health. And people should get together to save without nation, border, or boring conflict.
