The protection of mangroves

In Thailand, the mangrove restoration project is starting. Twenty years ago, Thailand pursued economic growth, and as a result, many mangrove trees destroyed, the woods were made into charcoal and the land is used for developments. But the rapid land development causes many disasters. They cut down the mangroves. As a result, the tide level is higher and the tide erodes coastal residents and crops. But in recent years, the mangrove restoration activity picks up in Thailand. They plant the sapling of mangrove, and plant the fence of bamboo for saving the sapling from tide. In addition, the activity warm up in community level.
I think this is good. One person cannot deal with the big thing, but if everyone helps the person, they can. By the way, it is tragedy that as culture get higher, and nature get lower. Reading kind of this article, I feel I must do the eco-activities however these are small things.
